Overview

The Operations Division maintains over 2,400 City-owned street lights throughout the City.  Street light maintenance activities include:

• Repair of knockdowns due to traffic accidents;

• Replacement of non-functional lights; and

• Repair of damaged wiring and electrical components.

There are over 2,100 utility-owned lights that are maintained by Alliant Energy and Rock Electric Co-op).
