The Department of Public Works, headed by the Director of Public Works, is comprised of the following:
Comprised of approximately 130 full time employees, 7 part time employees and 34 seasonal employees, the Department of Public Works is primarily responsible for administration of activities related to street rehabilitation, new and replacement sidewalk, transportation, street lights, traffic signals, construction, new development, storm water, water system, sewer system, sanitation, landfill operations, environmental assessments, planning, building and development services and park operations.
