Overview 

The City of Janesville contracts with Wisconsin Surplus Online Auction company to sell the City’s surplus equipment and vehicles.  Staff views this program as more efficient and cost-effective in comparison to organizing a local in-person auction every year or so. 

• Citizens interested in learning about the merchandise available for sale or placing a bid to purchase are asked to visit the Wisconsin Surplus auction website at: http://www.wisconsinsurplus.com.
• At the homepage for the site, bidders may scroll through the list of available auctions and should look for the “City of Janesville” auction.
