Start Smart Baseball is a six-week introductory baseball program for children ages 3 - 5 and their parents to work one-on-one with each other. The program prepares children for organized tee ball, baseball, and softball in a fun and non-threatening environment. Age appropriate equipment is used to teach children throwing, catching, batting, running, and agility. Both parents and children should dress in active clothes ready to play! 

The program will take place from 6 – 7 p.m. on Thursday evenings from June 29 – August 3 at Traxler Park. The cost of the program is $37. Please meet at the Lion’s Pavilion for this program. For questions, please contact the Recreation Division at (608) 755-3030.
