The City of Janesville performs street sweeping several times each year. The second cycle of downtown sweeping is planned to for Thursday and Friday, May 25 - 26. On the first day of the cycle, City crews will sweep downtown parking lots and several main arterial streets.  The work is scheduled to begin early in the morning when traffic and street parking is minimal.  On the second day of the cycle, City crews will sweep the remaining main arterial streets.

Street sweeping dates are weather dependent and subject to change. The City of Janesville encourages off-street parking of vehicles during street sweeping events.
