The C.I.T. Program is for young adults between the ages of 13-15 who have a strong desire to work with children and who want to assist counselors at any of our camp facilities. Applicants must be dependable, able to help the counselors and assist as a leader, rather a “camper.”
There will be a brief training session for all program participants on Monday, June 5 at 4pm at City Hall (18 N. Jackson Street) room 416. Interested program participants should pick up an application at the Janesville Recreation Division office and return it along with a letter of interest and a reference letter from a non-relative. The cost is $25/session for all camps, except for Tot Lot, which is $10/session.
Applications are due Friday, May 5. Please contact the Recreation Division with any questions at (608) 755-3030. Space is limited – apply early!
