Do you know how to play piano but find learning new music an overwhelming task? Do you simply not have the time for traditional classes and the hours needed to learn new music? Well this class is for you!

This simple “hands on” course will take the complexity out of music and have you playing your favorite tunes immediately. After learning a few chord patterns and tricks, you can begin expanding melody knowledge at your own pace. You will once again want to sit down and enjoy the piano! This class is designed for the person that is acquainted with reading sheet music and simple music theory. In this class, we will cover expanding basic chord knowledge through learning new chord patterns.

Portable pianos will be available for use to all students. Each student is provided with a workshop book and DVD ($30 value) to keep. The class will cost $48. It will be located at the Senior Activity Center Conference Room on February 3 from 6 - 9pm. Ages 14 and up are invited to attend.
