Have you always had the desire to learn how to play piano but simply don’t have the time? Do you wish you could play your favorite songs and not spend months trying to learn them? Well this class is for you!

Learn Basic Piano with “Chords” will take place on January 13 from 6-9pm at the Senior Activity Center Conference Room. The class will cost $48, and ages 14 and up are invited to attend.

Learning the simple method of piano playing with chords is specifically designed for busy people that want to “feel” the songs they enjoy. This “hands on” course will have you playing your favorite songs immediately. This class is designed for the person that is new to playing piano. In this class we will cover simple music theory, basic note playing and easy chord playing technique.

Portable pianos will be available for use to all students. Each student is provided with a workshop book and DVD ($30 value) to keep. Please pre-register online or at the Recreation Division office by January 8. Please contact the Recreation Division for more information at (608) 755-3030.
