First Virtual Listening Session to be held with Neighborhood Listening Session

  • Date: 12/02/2015
  • Location: Hedberg Public Library
    316 South Main Street

The Janesville City Council will hold the third of five neighborhood listening sessions on Wednesday, December 2 at the Hedberg Public Library (316 South Main Street) beginning at 6PM. Neighborhood residents are encouraged to utilize this opportunity to meet the City Council and Administration and raise any questions or concerns they may have.

If you are unable to attend the Neighborhood Listening session in person, but still have a question for the City Council, please tune in to the first Virtual Listening Session. Residents are encouraged to submit questions, comments, and concerns to the City Council online via a special hashtag using Facebook and Twitter beginning 24 hours before the Neighborhood Listening Session.

The City Council will answer all relevant questions via a live Twitter broadcast of the Neighborhood Listening Session. To view the broadcast please visit the City of Janesville’s Twitter page (https://twitter.com/City_Janesville) and follow the live Periscope link on the day of the session. The taped broadcast will be available on Twitter beginning December 3, 2015 and will be uploaded to the City’s website soon after the event.

The remaining two sessions will be held over the course of the next year in a different geographic area of the community: north and east. Residents should visit the news section of the City’s website (www.janesvillewi.gov/news) in the upcoming months for information about future neighborhood listening sessions.

For further information or to provide comments before the meeting, please contact Ami Christophersen, Management Analyst Intern, at (608) 373-3446.
