November’s special event at the Senior Center will feature Ron Brown’s Theatrical Performance class in their play “A 1940’s Radio Production.” Participants will experience a 1940's style radio show including live sound effects, music, serials, and skits. This performance was a partnership between the Senior Center and the Janesville Performing Arts Center. Students in the performance were involved in an eight week course led by Ron Brown and held this past summer at the Senior Center.

The performance will take place on Wednesday, November 18 in the Riverview Room of the Senior Center. A lunch of potato soup, garlic bread and pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting will begin at 12:15pm, with the show starting at 1pm.

The performance will cost $6 for members and $8 for nonmembers. Please register and pay by November 12. For questions or to register, please call Senior Center Supervisor Janet McLean at 755-3040.

This activity at the Senior Center is open to individuals ages 50 and older.
