The City of Janesville Recreation Division has partnered with Bricks 4 Kidz to offer exciting after school enrichment classes. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the concepts of engineering and physics while building with LEGO® bricks. In this class, students will use fascinating and challenging LEGO® components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines and more. Creations will be set in motion using LEGO® wireless remote controls! Participants will understand basic principles of everyday devices, along with learning how to magnify, diminish and redirect force to move objects at different speeds and in different directions.
The class will take place at Madison Elementary School Art Room (Room 125) on Mondays, October 26-November 30 from 3:20-4:20pm. It is open to children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The class will cost $69/student. Please pre-register online or at the Recreation Division office by October 21. Please contact the Recreation Division for more information at (608) 755-3030.
