The Start Smart program is a national program offered through the National Alliance on Youth Sports. It is an instructional program that prepares youth ages 3-5 for organized sports without the fear of competition. Parents work with their child, the instructor and other kids in a social setting to learn the basic skills of throwing, catching, kicking and batting. Program goals are to increase individual skill development and assist parents in understanding their child’s interests. Both parents and children dress in attire ready to play!
The program will be on Tuesday nights from 6-7pm, starting on October 27 to December 1 at Kennedy (on 10/27, 11/10, 11/17 & 11/24) and Adams (on 11/3 & 12/1) Elementary School gyms. This class cost is $37.
