Do you or your child love back to school supplies? Do you like having fun with physical fitness? This event is the perfect way to combine exercise with getting free supplies for school or home!

School may already be started, but there is still time to pick up some cool school supplies in our fun station located along the 1.5 mile fun run route. Participants can run or walk along the route, stopping at cool obstacles like the great pencil hunt, eraser launch and folder frenzy. This fun run is not timed and is great for all ages and abilities.

Once you cross the finish line, don’t forget to stop in our “School Store” before heading home! Here, participants can trade supplies or redeem any upgrades from along the route. There will be free snacks for all participants at the conclusion of the run, as well as a free drawstring backpack (guaranteed if pre-registered by September 12). 

The Back to School Fun Run will be on Saturday, September 26 starting at 10am. This event will be at Riverside Park and is a family-friendly event. The pre-registration fee is $12/Person and the race day fee is $17/Person. Pre-register at the Janesville Recreation Division office or online.
