Start Smart Lacrosse prepares children (ages 5-7) and their parents for organized lacrosse without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Parents work with their child in this instructional program. Age appropriate equipment form STX® is used in teaching shooting, passing, catching, cradling, stick handling, running, and agility. Both parents and children should dress in active clothes ready to play! Please pre-register at the Janesville Recreation Division office or online at www.janesvillewi.gov/register by Monday, August 17. This program takes place from 6 – 7pm at Optimist Park on Thursday evenings from August 20 – September 24. The cost of the program is $37.
