We all run for ice cream! Celebrate National Ice Cream Day a day early by scampering down the Peace Trail for our unique 5K or 1 mile fun run. Scoot your way through the sweet obstacles like the slippery syrup slide, whipped cream cannon, and the mystery blaster. See what our mystery topping is this year at the turn around point of the 5K. Skipping any obstacle results in a “3 screams for ice cream” penalty per obstacle (completed at the obstacle). This fun run is not timed and is great for friends and families of all ages and abilities. Once you cross the finish line, you will be rewarded with free ice cream from the West Court Street Dairy Queen!

Race held rain or shine. Registrations received after July 1 will not be guaranteed a t-shirt. Check in will be held at Rockport Park field near the Peace Trail & the west end of the Rockport Pool parking lot. The race starts at 10:00 a.m. and registration fees are $15/person through May 31, $20/person from June 1 – July 17 (at 4:30PM), and $25/person on the day of the race.
