The Friends of Oak Hill Chapel are holding a spring open house on May 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel located at 1725 N. Washington Street. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the restoration progress of the chapel and view the stained glass windows which were sponsored by local residents. During this event, Marge Manogue, a glass painter artist from Milton, will provide samples of the repainting process for damaged medallions that go into stained glass windows. Additionally, attendees may view photos and/or a video of the chapel’s original doors which are being restored by Milton wood craftsman, Trae Leeder. Cookies and beverages will be served.
