Janesville was named a Bird City Community through the Bird City Wisconsin organization. Janesville is a healthy and thriving community for birds.

On Saturday, May 9, there will be a Bird City Celebration at Riverside Park from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The event will include tips and tricks on attracting, identifying and photographing birds, games and quizzes, and bird walks.
