North Jackson Street between Centerway and Mineral Point Avenue and Madison Street between High Street and Mineral Point Avenue are scheduled to be CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC beginning Monday, May 4 and will remain closed for approximately ten (10) weeks. A signed detour route utilizing Centerway, North Franklin Street and Mineral Point Avenue will be provided.

Contractors working for the City of Janesville will be removing pavement, replacing water mains, valves, and services; replacing storm sewer mains, manholes, and inlets; and then reconstructing the curb & gutter, driveway approaches and pavement on North Jackson Street from Race Street to Mineral Point Avenue and on Madison Street from North Jackson Street to Mineral Point Avenue. Local access to businesses and residences will be maintained during construction.
