Most City facilities will be closed on Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day, including:

• City Services Center
• Police Administration
• Senior Center
• Fire Administration
• Ice Arena
• Water & Wastewater Utility Offices
• Sanitary & Demolition Landfills
• Oak Hill Cemetery Office
• JTS Administration

The Hedberg Public Library will be closed Sunday, May 24 and Monday, May 25.

Other City activities affected:

Trash & Recycling Collection – No collection will take place on Monday, May 25. Collection regularly scheduled for Monday will be collected on Tuesday, May 26. All remaining trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day during this week only, with Friday collection completed on Saturday. The regular collection schedule will resume Monday, June 1.
City Council Meeting – The regular Monday Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 26 at 6:00 p.m.
Janesville Transit System – JTS services will not be provided Monday, May 25.
