On Saturday, December 6, the “Spice on Ice” Skating Show will take place at the Janesville Ice Skating Center from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. During this free event, attendees will enjoy performances by local ice skaters. “Skate with Santa” will immediately follow these performances until 12:15 p.m. Spice on Ice will feature music from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra as well as a bake sale and a 50/50 raffle to benefit Project 16:49. Admission is the donation of a non-perishable food item for ECHO. The Thursday Noon Optimist Club graciously donated the $2 skate rental fee for the first 125 children who skate. The 2014 Spice on Ice exhibition is presented by the Janesville Figure Skating Club in cooperation with the City of Janesville Recreation Division and “Jolly Jingle” event.
