On Saturday, November 15, the Janesville Police Department will host “Rapid Deployment” training at City Hall, 18 N Jackson Street. During this training, several Rock County law enforcement agencies will practice rapid response and deployment formations. Rapid Deployment is the swift and immediate deployment of law enforcement personnel to on-going, life threatening situations in which a delayed deployment could otherwise result in death or bodily injury. Residents should be aware that this is a planned training session and there is no danger. The training will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
