Enjoy the outdoors with family and friends while the seasons are changing. Welcome autumn by enjoying a hayride through Riverside Park and a crackling campfire. The hay wagon, pulled by a tractor, will take groups on a scenic tour of the park. After the park tour keep warm by the campfire, while enjoying a scrumptious s’more (one per person). No reservation is necessary; payment is due when boarding the hay wagon. Participants may arrive anytime within the specified time frame, but the last wagon ride will be complete at the specified end time. The ride and s’more cooking should take about a half hour. Please meet at Riverside Park-South Pavilion for this event. This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of Riverside. OnThursday, October 9 they will run from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. The fee per person is $3. Please contact the Recreation Division with any questions at 755-3030.
