The next Home Buyer’s Workshop will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Municipal Building, 18 N. Jackson St. The workshop is designed to assist individuals in becoming homeowners in Janesville and Northern Rock County by giving them the information they need to make a wise purchase decision. The class will be held from 8:30AM to 4:30PM.  Classes are free and open to anyone interested in learning about the home-purchase process

The workshop is coordinated by Community Action, Inc. and co-sponsored by Neighborhood & Community Services, Anchor Bank, Associated Bank, Blackhawk Community Credit Union, Chase Bank, Johnson Bank, BMO Harris Bank, and Rock County Planning & Development.  Pre-registration is required.  To register, or find out more about homeownership assistance, contact Community Action, Inc. at 608-313-1300.  Information on other affordable housing programs offered by Neighborhood & Community Services can be obtained by calling 608-755-3065.
