The Recreation Division is hosting several one day fun day events at Palmer Park’s Hilltop Pavilion for parents who would like their children to experience a taste of day camp, without the commitment of a full day or week. This event is an excellent way for parents to get some ‘time off’, while their children participate in fun activities.

On August 18, the theme of the fun day is Superheroes and Princesses. Children ages 3-8 will get the chance to be heroes for the day! Superhero activities include an out-of-this-world craft and a test of superhero abilities. Princesses will have a relaxing spa day as well as activities such as find the pea and hot slipper. At the end of the day, both superheroes and princesses will come together for a fun activity! Costumes are encouraged. The event takes place from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and the participation fee is $8.
