North Lexington Drive between Liberty La. and U.S. Hwy 14 (Humes Rd.) is scheduled to be CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC beginning approximately 7:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 10.  All lanes are expected to be open by late afternoon the same day.

Traffic will be detoured around the closure on Liberty La, N. Pontiac Dr. and U.S. Hwy 14 (Humes Rd.).  Local access to driveways will be maintained throughout the closure, but access to the driveways will only be available from one direction (depending upon location).  A private contractor will be installing a new underground water lateral to serve the Woodman’s expansion project.  The excavation will be located just south of the Woodman’s gas station site.

The Janesville Transit Milton Avenue route will be affected by this road closure. The Milton Avenue route will follow the posted detour. Passengers normally boarding or alighting at the Shopko bus stop are asked to board or alight at the corner of Lexington and Liberty. Passengers using the Milton Avenue route are advised that this detour may require additional time and the buses may run late.
