As part of the 2014 Main Street Entertainment Series, the Zweifel Brothers will perform on June 17 from 7 - 8:30PM. The concert will take place in Janesville’s Lower Courthouse Park, located on the corner of Court Street and Main Street. The Main Street Entertainment Series is sponsored by Dean & St. Mary’s, Elmer’s Kettle Corn, Gilmore & Marinaro Dental, the Janesville Senior Center, Trading Spaces and Commercial Bank. This concert is free to the public.  In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be moved across the street to the Janesville Senior Center.

This local band has been playing together since 1965 performing polkas, waltzes and fox trots in Iowa, Illinois, and all over Wisconsin. The Zweifel Brothers are of Swiss heritage, and play many yodeling songs, featuring the yodeling Mike Zweifel. Their blending of music styles comes from the late Roger Bright Band of New Glarus, Wisconsin and the late Verne Meisner of Whitewater, Wisconsin.  Please contact the Recreation Division with any questions at 755-3030.
