Knowing how to swim is an essential life skill. The Recreation Division’s lifeguards are certified through the American Red Cross and lessons follow Red Cross standards. Swim lessons cost between $35 and $40 per session depending on level, and private lessons cost $20 per class. Scholarships are available for income qualifying families.
