Next Home Buyer's Workshop Scheduled for August 11

Neighborhood Services will host the next session of the Home Buyer's Workshop on Saturday, August 11.  The workshop is designed to assist individuals in becoming homeowners in Janesville and Northern Rock County by giving them the information they need to make a wise purchase decision.  The classes are offered in a one-day, 8-hour class from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.  Classes are held at the City of Janesville Municipal Building, 18 N. Jackson Street.  Classes are free and open to anyone interested in learning about the home-purchase process. 

The workshop is sponsored by Anchor Bank, Associated Bank, Johnson Bank, M&I Bank, Rock County Planning & Development, and classes are taught by Community Action, Inc.  Pre-registration is required.  For more information or to register, please call Neighborhood Services at 755-3065.  The remaining Home Buyer Workshops for the 2012 calendar year include:
