The Start Smart program is a national program offered through the National Alliance on Youth Sports. It is an instructional program that prepares youth ages 3 – 5 for organized sports without the fear of competition. Parents work with their child, the instructor, and other kids in a social setting to learn the basic skills of throwing, catching, kicking and batting. Program goals are to increase individual skill development and assist parent in understanding their child’s interests. Both parents and children should dress in active clothes, ready to play!
The cost of the program is $39. This program will take place on Wednesdays, March 7 – April 18 (no class March 28 due to Spring Break) from 6 – 7 p.m. at Harrison Elementary School Gym.
