CITY CAMP OUT

Do you want to try camping but don't want to travel too far?  Camp in our backyard...at Rockport Park.  This event is held in conjunction with the Great American Backyard Camp Out, a national event that encourages families to camp out together.  Gather your family for a night under the stars.  The $25 cost includes a tent site reservation, hot dogs, swimming at Rockport Pool, kids activities, bonfire and a doughnut breakfast.  Families are responsible for side items and drinks.  Special activities include:  adult and kid bingo, a guided hike, cool kids crafts, family relay races, volleyball and more.  Do as many planned activities as you wish or provide your own fun.  This is a family friendly event.  No alcohol permitted in the park.  Campers must bring their own tent and camping supplies.  This event is co-sponsored by Westgate Corridor. 

PRE-REGISTER BY FRIDAY, JUNE 6TH. 

Check in on Saturday, June 16th from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.  Scheduled activities begin at 1:00 PM.  Cost is $25 per site (one tent).  Additional tents are $15 each.  Only two tents allowed per site.  Check out on Sunday, June 17th by 10:00 AM.
