Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden caches. Learn how to use a GPS unit and search for the geocaches. Sign up as a family to learn GPS basics, how to reseach geocaches, and get out to find caches in this park. Your registration fee covers the use of a GPS unit (one per family) for the program. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum participants: Five families (that is the number of GPS units). Registration deadline: Thursday, April 12, 2012. Click here for registration form.
