Enjoy a movie under the night sky at Optimist Park (4201 Ruger Avenue)! Sing will be shown on Friday, August 18. Movies will begin at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.). UW-Madison will be visiting this program with free Babcock ice cream! As a part of their Thank You Tour, they would like to thank people of Wisconsin who have helped make the University of Wisconsin – Madison a world-class university. This will be the final Movies in the Park for this summer. In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be rescheduled for Saturday evening.
All movies are rated PG or less. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair. Per City Ordinance 12.60.120, no liquor or beer is allowed in city parks. Concessions will be available for purchase and pre-movie barrel rides in the park will begin at 7 p.m. Thanks to the Optimist Clubs for co-sponsoring these free movies.
