On Monday, July 14, the City of Janesville will host local high school students as part of the Tim Cullen Government Internship Program. 2014 is the 11th year of the internship program endowed by Senator Tim Cullen, which allows students to gain experience in local and state government. During their day in the City of Janesville, the students will tour city facilities and meet with various staff members to learn about the workings of city government.
Students will also have time to meet with City Councilmembers before the Council meeting scheduled for that evening. The interns will have a chance to discuss the policymaking role and process of city government with Councilmembers. The City of Janesville welcomes the Cullen Interns of 2014 and looks forward to a successful and educational day.
