Spring Stargazing Spectacular Planned for May 10; Volunteers Needed
On May 10 the Parks & Recreation Divisions will celebrate National Astronomy Day with a stargazing event at Optimist Park. This event is free to the public and will take place from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. During this event, kids will receive a free glow necklace and can participate in a solar system scavenger hunt. Individuals with telescopes and expertise are encouraged to contact the Recreation Division’s office to volunteer their time.
