The City of Janesville will host a public informational meeting on the recently-completed downtown parking study. The City’s parking consultant, Walker Parking Consultants, will present their draft report and findings at this session. The open house will provide all interested parties with an opportunity to ask questions about existing and future downtown parking conditions.
The parking study examines the availability of public parking spaces in downtown Janesville on a block-by-block basis. The study compares the existing parking supply with anticipated future demand based on a number of scenarios and includes an analysis on the effect that removal of the Parking Plaza will have on parking availability.
